Cakes Day 3

Today was carrot cake day. Th cake is just carrot cake and cream cheese icing. The icing is delicious, and the cake is pretty good too.

This is Chef's cake.

Here is my cake. I did my carrots differently, but overall I think that is turned out pretty well.

Here are the classes cakes on the speed-rack waiting to be graded.

Then we prepped all of the things for Day 3. We will be making lemon-lime cake, so we made lemon pound cake and lime buttercream today. Tomorrow we will make the lemon lime curd.

Here are our cakes ready to be baked, and the cut up butter for our buttercream. Lots and lots and lots of butter! Also, there is the bowl with tons of egg whites and sugar for the meringue for the buttercream.
